The rules are simple. Just pick the fake plant name from each list. Three of the names in each list are official names of plants found in Nebraska. The other is one that I made up. See if you can guess the fake plant name. Good luck! I’ll post the answers in a day or two.

Bonus plant quiz. What is the name of this plant I photographed over the weekend at our family prairie? Choices: A) Starry milkvetch, B) Lambert’s crazyweed, C) Coryambula Fig, D) Higg’s Bow Sun
Lambert’s Locoweed
I have no idea which names are fake, but they are all great! I especially like Beaked Ditchgrass. :)
bonus plant is Lambert’s crazyweed
Agreed
Actually I thought the higg’s bow sun was pretty creative but then particle physics in general is pretty creative..
Your next quiz should be what is not the name of an underwing moth. You know, The Bride, The Girlfriend, The Confused Fiancee, The Little-Piece-on-the-Side…..

I also think the bonus plant is Lambert’s crazyweed. I want botanical names on all of these and photos, lol. Well, except for the made-up ones – that might be a little tough to ask for. This is fun.
